I Don't Care What They Think About Me

... Jesus I long to see your face...
-------
I will never stop praisin' you... for all the things you've done for me... and I'll be yours forever... Jesus you're everything to me...
-------
Whoaaa life is nuts!!
It's so very confusing when your biggest plans get ruined and you've got no plan b. For example... NOT getting in to the only college you applied for...
When I got my letter on Friday all my plans for my new life (life after moving to Ottawa) suddenly wouldn't work out... and now what? I really have no clue!
-------
But I'm so excited and on a high.... the year is mine! Who knows what will happen... maybe college isn't where I'm supposed to be. Maybe running around screaming Jesus love songs on the downtown streets is more important... or feeding crazy kids who long to know the real meaning of life and giving them something to look forward to in their futures... or painting and taking photos... who knows!!! Not knowing what is going to happen is the scariest, most exciting and adrenaline rushing feeling ever!!
-------
...You are the way, the truth and the light... I live by faith and NOT by sight...
-------
The camp this weekend was so awesome! All the dead dandelions were blowing and covering everything in the camp... the whole ground looked like it was covered in snow and the forest was so mystical! I've never seen so much fluff falling from the sky... like God was having a pillow fight with his angels haha. And the lake was extra pretty for some reason... it was high and peaceful. Camp truly is one of my favourite places ever. I always feel alive there...
-------
Laura Brown. Fil. What a crazy child! Her passion for the Army has always inspired me. We were talking this weekend about how cool it would be to go into uniform..... original style! With the bonnet and the old tunics... so awesome! I wouldn't be surprised if she actually found one and wore it to every event possible... including regular classes haha.
-------
Being an Army kid gets confusing... well, for me anyway. Love or hate? Depending on the moment.... it could be either. Right now... I'm so inlove. The Salvation Army is in my blood... it's my culture and I'm proud. There are times when I want to get as far away as possible, but we all know you can't escape who you are. I'm an Officer's Kid. An O.K. And I wouldn't give it up for anything.
-------
My challenge for you for today: think about where you are in your life, if you love where you're going, or if there's something you can change so that in 5, 10, 15 years, you'll still love where you're going, and where you've been.

I am SO impressed by your love for Jesus and The Salvation Army! Not too many young people your age have so much enthusiasm. As for the original style uniforms, I can totally see it...

Secret for sure!!

I've just come to realize that life is impossible with Jesus and he's the only one I can trust 100%. Plus he's got the power man! Haha he can do whatever he wants... so why wouldn't I side with him? haha

Guess what Laura Brown's maternal grandmother is giving her...a bonnet! Guess she'll pick it up when she comes home for a visit at Christmastime.

Picture for sure. If I can talk my mom into it, I might be able to get one for you too! She has three of them.
